Business Development Department

The Business Development Supervisor (BDS) is primarily responsible for ensuring that all initiatives of the Business Development Department are accomplished to meet the Company's organizational objectives and to ensure its sustainable & over-all growth. The BDS shall also be assigned to coach, mentor, train, and monitor work performance of Business Development Associates.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Coordinates with various project proponents in monitoring the status & progress of all Company projects. Helps in ensuring that all projects will either be completed within the stipulated timeline or any irregularities will be immediately addressed. The BDS shall also be responsible for composing semi-monthly reports to track progress of each project.
  • Product Development: Responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager (BDM) and pertinent Departments in developing the product or service.
  • Business Planning: Responsible for preparing the business planning documentation and for providing recommendations to Departments, to the BDM, and/or the DCFC Management.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Spearheads data gathering and recommends the use of appropriate tools & analysis for market research. Responsible for conducting market research and preparing write-ups for feasibility studies including financial projections, with coordination of the Finance & Accounting Division (FAD).
  • Business Documentation: Acts as the reviewer of drafts composed by Business Development, including but not limited to drafts of manuals, policies, profiles, presentations, reports, forms and templates. Provides advisory to Departments in making new documents and in updating existing publications.
  • Data Utilization: Responsible for maintaining the accuracy & reliability of all information databases and automations handled by Business Development.
  • Collaborates with internal (and/or external) parties in the performance of its activities to ensure accuracy and to drive teamwork & innovation.
  • Provides advisory & support for Departments, as needed.
  • Train/Guide/Mentor Business Development Associates in the performance of their tasks.
  • Acts as the Department's Officer-in-Charge (OIC) when the BDM is absent or not within office premises.
  • Performs ad hoc tasks and other business development initiatives, as instructed to him/her from time to time by the Business Development Manager and/or DCFC Management.
